All Centerpoint residents meet with the Programs' Consulting Psychiatrist on the day of admission and then at least monthly. Both residents and family members who have medication related concerns are free to contact Dr. Mark Robbins at anytime for clarification or consultation.

Because most residents at Centerpoint have complicated psychiatric and medical histories with multiple impairments, a majority of them require treatment with psychotropic medications. Dr. Robbins is responsible for medication monitoring as well as mental status exams and evaluating and treating all psychiatric symptoms. The Psychiatrist and Nursing Department are integrated into all Team Meetings and work collaboratively with other disciplines to insure a multi-modal approach to treatment.
