The Centerpoint program is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of qualified professionals and para-professionals. The treatment team includes clinical, medical, educational, administrative and milieu staff who offer expertise to assess the treatment needs of each resident, design program specific treatment plans to address specific areas of concern, and develop and support a therapeutic environment which enhances self esteem and promotes maximum psychological healing and growth.

Centerpoint employs more than thirty program staff, and on-call medical and psychiatric staff to ensure twenty four hour a day availability of these services. The staffing pattern provides for a minimum of 1:3 staffing coverage during all waking hours, and a 1:5 ratio from 11:00pm to 7:00am .

The Centerpoint Program Director is clinically and administratively responsible for the overall operation of the facility. She is a Master's Level Social Worker with licensing eligibility who has been employed at Centerpoint for over 17 years.

The Centerpoint Clinical Director is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of all clinical services and for the supervision of the three licensed Clinicians who work directly with the residents and their families. The Clinical Director of Centerpoint has been at Centerpoint for 15 years.

Clinical Consultation services are built into the program design in the event that quality clinical care requires outside expertise.

The Centerpoint Medical Department consists of a Board Certified Child Psychiatrist, two full time Registered Nurses, and two Part-time Registered Nurses. Medical coverage is available twenty four hours a day to provide emergency services and guarantee adherence to all governing regulations.

The Residential Department is headed by a Residential Director who is responsible for the daily functioning of the therapeutic milieu and for the hiring, training and supervision of the residential staff. Centerpoint's Residential Director has been with the program since 1988.

All Residential staff are required to have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or previous experience in a residential care setting with emotionally disturbed adolescents. Counselor candidates undergo rigorous interviewing and background checks prior to employment and must complete a 40 hour Orientation Program and monthly training during the span of employment.

 
     
 

The Centerpoint Program also employs support staff including a full time Administrative Assistant, a Part-time Secretary, and a full time Cook in addition to a consulting Dietician and Forensic Psychologist.
